El Nino Esta Aqui !

Here is my attempt to write in Spanish...probably grammatically incorrect, and maybe misspelled too, but I thought it would be fun to give it a go in the spirit of El Nino!

Noelle calls these "Daddy's boots"

She got to walk the dog today.

Noelle, Izzy and I wanted to try out her new rain boots (thank you Grammie and Grampa) and rain coat (thank you Auntie Lauren), and they work fantastically well. And we all had a great time splashing around outside in the puddles.

Snow Trip

Adam's friend Mike came up with us to snowboard...little did he know how much snow there would be to shovel. Thanks for all of the hard work Mike!

Sledding races. Looks like Izzy is beating the boys in this one.

Sledding with Daddy...not a big fan this year.

All bundled up and ready for the snow. She could barely walk with it all on. Noelle LOVED the snow. She kept telling me "happy Mama."

Noelle found the dog kennel at the cabin and thought it made a great play house. She liked getting in and opening and closing the door.

We also had a great visit with my family on the way home. Here is "Grammie" with her 2 grandkids. I think she is secretly Wonder Woman though...how does such a tiny lady hold 2 generously sized toddlers at the same time??

Refer to Last Post.....

Noelle's fearlessness finally caught up with her. She broke her arm this morning running full speed ahead on our front walk-way. She did her usual face-plant, which she usually just stands up and brushes her hands off, but not this time. Screaming and crying. Boo! After half a day of her babying her arm we decided to get her checked out just in case. Bummer...poor girl. What a brave soul. And don't let the cute little smile fool you...this picture was taken just after she consumed a Baskin Robbin's Cappuccino Blast Shake singlehandedly. Yes, we believe in bribery...especially when trying to distract from pain.
