Happy 4th Anniversary

I am finally posting our anniversary pictures from last month. It was my turn to plan this year, and I forgot that the local grand-people and siblings were going to be out of town that weekend, so it was good for me...I had to get creative....plan a "group" activity....one kid friendly, and dog friendly too....nice restaurant....OUT.....hotel stay.....OUT....hmmm....something outdoors, fun and somewhat local. We both like to hike, so I think it all turned out pretty well. We had a great time, and even got some exercise, and it was only a 20 minute drive from home...free besides the $5 parking fee, and had a beautiful waterfall at the end of the hike. Happy 4th babe. I am a blessed girl to have such a fantastic husband. Love you.

Izzy even got to swim in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall.
Noelle in the maiden voyage of the new to us hiking backpack.
I joked that Noelle was like Izma in "The Emperors New Groove". Riding in style.

I think everyone had a nice day.

Berries and Birds

We had a couple great days in June with family and friends. One day we went out to Valencia and walked around the "fake lake" and got to see so many ducks and their little babies. And a week or so later we got to go out to the wonderful blueberry ranch.

Getting as close as we possibly can to the cute duckling.
My sis was down for the weekend. I miss that girl.
Noelle feeding Aunt Judy a delicious blueberry...they were taking turns.
Laura came out berry picking too. That was a treat in itself!
The collected treasure.

Vacation

My Mom "kidnapped" Noelle and I and took us up to Sacramento for almost 2 weeks. We had a great time, and Adam even had a few days off at the end to come up!

Noelle is super into cars, so she loved this little toy car, and went nuts driving it.

Noelle dreaming of driving her Grandpa's car someday.

Adam taking his usual spin in the Corvette...no trip to the Penrod's is complete without it.

Aunt Dina made this beautiful hat for Noey.

Enjoying my delicious home-made birthday ice cream...thanks Mom and Dad.
